KATCO Corporate Social Responsibility Report 2016: Contributing to a Sustainable Future

In partnership with Edward Austin, we helped produce the first-ever corporate social responsibility report of for KATCO, the world's largest in-situ uranium producer.

We conducted management interviews in Kazakhstan and developed the report's content.

The 8 Steps+: The Role of Community Development Organization in Providing Holistic Wheelchair Services

We helped produce the final publication of the USAID-funded Accelerating Core Competencies for Effective Wheelchair Service and Support (ACCESS) project, a 3.5-year program implemented by World Vision in El Salvador, India, Kenya, Nicaragua, and Romania.

We edited the report's content.

Campos de Esperanza (Fields of Hope) Program

We supported World Vision's D.C.-based program development team on the design of a winning $7-million bid to the United States Department of Labor.

We led technical writing in response to the solicitation.

We conducted field recognizance in Georgia and Azerbaijan for a D.C.-based international development client.

We identified value-added local partnerships, contributed to the project's technical design, and provided writing and editing support throughout the proposal development process.

Meet the Team

Joe Crescente

Director of Content Creation

Joe Crescente has been communicating since he was born and getting paid for it since 2003. Joe earned a BA in communications and creative writing at The Evergreen State College, MAs from Indiana University and New York University, and a certificate in Culture and Media from NYU. He spent much of the 2000s in the former Soviet Union as a non-profit manager, researcher, student, and writer, working everywhere from Vladivostok on Russia’s Pacific Coast to the broiling sands of Ashgabat in Turkmenistan.

Joe has experience working with texts of more than one million words and fewer than 70 characters and a wide portfolio including creative consulting, ghostwriting, copywriting, press releases, speechwriting, newsletters, and business and travel writing. As Director of Content Creation, he enjoys taking an incomplete thought and turning it into a voice that connects with your audience.

Andy Bamber

Director of Business Development

Andy Bamber is an experienced proposal development professional who has supported more than $125 million in winning bids to U.S. Government sources for humanitarian relief and development projects. He has held numerous consulting assignments with leading international development organizations and has traveled on assignment throughout Asia, Africa, Europe, and Latin America. From these experiences, he has cultivated an extraordinary ability to size up contexts, develop programming, and draft compelling proposal narratives in short, intense periods of time—assets crucial to putting together winning bids.

Andy was previously based in Almaty, Kazakhstan as the business development manager of the Eurasia Foundation, where he was responsible for securing government funding for the foundation’s broader initiatives in Central Asia. He holds a BA in Geography from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an MA in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. Andy served in the Peace Corps in Azerbaijan.
